With all the water surrounding Miami, water sports are a natural choice for staying active outdoors. Hop aboard a boat or rent equipment for water sports like water skiing or paddle board, also known as SUP, which has grown popular everywhere in Miami and has several places for lessons. Miami also offers speedboats or speed boat tours, luxury yachts, dining cruises, gaming cruises and sailboat charters, Snorkeling and Diving trips, Kayaking & Canoeing and Deep sea fishing as well as freshwater fishing – this much and more awaits you on the water of Greater Miami.

Miami Beach and Fisher Island Golf Courses.

If you are an avid and keen golfer then you will be very happy to know that Miami Beach and Fisher Island each feature their own spectacular golf courses. Take a break from the beach to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the lush and manicured green of either of these courses..

The Everglades

Experience panoramic views of lush vegetation teeming with wildlife as you venture deep into the interior of the Florida tropical wetlands on a Miami Everglades Airboat Adventure. Explore the wilderness as you glide through the water, learning about the area’s complex ecosystem and history with narration from your bilingual airboat captains and guides. Score an upclose look at wetland reptiles during an alligator wildlife show, and wander through the lush trails filled before returning to your airboat. Don’t forget your camera!

Arts & Culture.

Miami has a rich arts and culture scene and there are many places you can go to such as the Bass Museum in Miami Beach, Perez Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA),  Bakehouse Art Complex, the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, Lowe Art Museum University of Miami, Coral Gables, Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum Rubell Family Collection Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, The Wolfsonian – FIU, World Erotic Art Museum.

The Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is free on the first Thursday and second Saturday of the month and the Miami Children’s Museum is free every third Friday of the month. The FIU Wolfsonian on Miami Beach is free every Friday night.

Kids can enjoy museums too, especially the one specifically targeted for them. The Museum of Art and Design in the Freedom Tower runs the third Saturday of the month from 12pm to 4 pm. The Adrienne Arsht Center in downtown hosts a monthly Family Fest on the fourth Saturday with themed performances, hands-on kid’s activities and more.
