Getting Around Miami/Transport

Experience the South Beach Local. Ride for only a small amount per trip, the buses run every twelve to twenty minutes daily, stopping at interesting destinations throughout SoBe. The buses are air-conditioned and are bike and wheelchair accessible for your convenience. Climb aboard and leave the walking for a leisurely stroll down Lincoln Road or Española Way. Or take the South Beach Local down to South Pointe Park for a view of Fisher Island and downtown in the distance watch the magnificent cruise ships sailing out of the PortMiami, while you enjoy a walk along the boardwalk of South Beach. Hop on again and ride in comfort to any of your favorite places along Washington Avenue. The South Beach Local makes getting around SoBe a breeze.

Metrorail transits (Orangeline) from Miami Airport to Downtown Brickell and towards Dadeland South or Miami Airport towards Palmetto, Green line) where you can at any of the  stops, you are able to transfer to Metrobus to further your trip.

The Metromover loops from the Financial District in Brickell to Omni, many interesting stops for sightseeing are as mentioned here: Trinity Episcopal Church, International Fine Arts College, Biscayne Bay Marriott Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Doubletree Grand Hotel, Plaza Venetia Hotel, Miami International University of Art & Design, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.
